From the outside draw Lions March spears to the lead and sets a slick tempo. JUN TWO POINT (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Mizusawa, finishing second and only a nose from the winner at the end of 1300m. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. EPONINE (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at Mizusawa, beaten 2.25 lengths into fourth. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. ROULETTE (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 15 lengths when sixth over 1300m at Mizusawa two weeks ago. Worth noting Shinobu Murakami goes aboard. Likely improver with strong prospects. CAVALLA (5) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at Mizusawa, beaten 6 lengths into ninth. Finds a nice race and can atone.
