Pakarang and T M Sinister will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. RATA FOREST (4) returns from a spell. Finished second at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep 12 weeks ago. Has a good record here at this journey with two wins and three minor placings from six starts. Sure to run well. MUSGRAVITE (7) is back from a 11 weeks spell and he does run well first-up, including a win over 1600m at this track at the start of last prep. Solid chance. RED DUNLUCE (5) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage ninth over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Top-three chance on best figures. PAKARANG (14) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a head over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Cannot be underestimated.
