Moderate tempo with The Beast leading the way. BACKWARD GLANCE (7) was tough to the wire in a solid provincial effort last start and peaks third up. No wet track worries and only has to run the added trip to go close. PIERONIMO (10) made up a stack of ground first up at Scone and the added trip is ideal. With two kilos less and safer draw just go grab some. THE BEAST (1) will want longer trips but lobs into a very winnable race resuming. Has been sharp enough in two recent trials to bet with confidence here. MILLIE DE LUNE (8) didn’t see much clear air first up and strips fitter. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backward Glance each-way.
