Expecting Saisir Le Reve to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. BIG YASHICHI ROOF (5) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 850m at Mizusawa. Can go on with it. SAISIR LE REVE (6) turned in a bold run first up when she tried to lead throughout but faded and finished fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths at Mizusawa. Expected to be in this for a long way. PERLAN (3) is resuming from a spell of four-and-a-half months and having her first run for the Koji Sakurada yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Morioka over 1000m. Solid top-three hope. JADE NOIR (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 11 lengths away in seventh over 1400m at Mizusawa. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
