He raced from a handy position and despite taking the turn wide stayed on well at the finish. He has won once and finished third three times from seven starts over this course and distance. With a bit of luck in the running can return to winning form. CHARLIE MALONE (1) stayed on well when third of 12 over 1200m on this course last time. He steps back up to 1400m and with a bit of luck in the running can finish in the money. GUARDING THE WALL (5) was well supported last time and ran below expectations, finishing 13th of 15 at Fairview over 1200m. Looks well placed here to return to form. LEGAL THRILLER (4) has place prospects following a last start fifth of 12 over 1300m at this track.
