He has won twice and finished third once from five starts over this distance. Richard Fourie retains the ride and if jumping on level should be the one to beat. FIRST ORIGIN (2) showed speed over 1000m last time but found one too good on the day. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from five starts over this course and distance. May be hard to peg back. CLIFF TOP (3) finished fifth last time out over 1000m at this track when first up from a spell. Steps up in distance today and in fitter state can place. USA'S HOPE (4) resumes today after placing second of 10 at his only start last prep at Fairview over 1200m. Should be prominent from the outset and is in the mix.
