The trio Baton Rouge, Naretoi and State Capitol will set a strong tempo. BATON ROUGE (2) showed a good turn of foot when winning his last start over 1950m on this course. Richard Fourie retains the ride and he can follow up with another victory. STATE CAPITOL (3) showed good signs of a form return when third over 1600m on this course last time. The manner in which she ran on at the finish that day was encouraging. She will strip much fitter and should give the males a decent run for their money. HIAWATHA GOLDBERG (5) ran a fair race when fourth over this course and distance last week Tuesday. Corne Orffer steps into the saddle and he can finish in the placings.
