Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Among the leading chances in this far easier contest. EDEL WEG (8) is back from a spell of 11 weeks. Closed last prep as a winner, taking out a 1800m contest at Kyoto by one length. Well placed and should be tough to beat. AI SANSAN (11) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Raced below par at her only appearance last prep when 12th over 2400m in the G1 Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks) at Tokyo. Has to be respected. OLIEBOLLEN (6) finished sixth over 2000m at Niigata at her most recent appearance on May 24. One to consider.
