Winning rider Makoto Otsubo stays aboard and he could go through his grades now. ALL NIPPON (4) has switched yards since finishing eighth five-and-a-half weeks ago over 2600m at Hakodate. Much better placed at this level so makes plenty of appeal. HOME RUN BATTER (1) made progress last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1400m at Urawa and should be hitting peak fitness now. RYUNO HINAGIKU (2) is going well with four minor placings in a row. Could break through.
