Strong tempo with Big American, Justin Power and Sound Zoom leading the charge. ROSEN WOLF (3) hit the frame two starts ago but ran below par last time when sixth over 1800m at this track. Nicely placed to make amends. BIG AMERICAN (5) got the prize two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when sixth over 1400m at this track. Rates highly and expected to do much better. TOA KALAKAUA (1) raced on the speed and dug deep to score by 0.8 lengths at today's track and trip last start in a much improved run. Likely to be there at the finish again. SOUND ZOOM (12) showed pace when resuming last start over 1650m at this track but his condition gave out and he wound up in sixth. Will strip fitter and expecting a much better run today.
