This is an ideal race to kick off. Has early pace and looks a top hope. JO TARUMAE (4) has been racing well without winning. Last start finished third, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Handy draw will assist so he is expected to be in the finish. HAGINO CORAZON (7) turned in a modest performance when third last time out over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a win at Niigata Dirt at the previous outing. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DANTSU SHITAN (2) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by half a length over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Will be better for that latest run and is worth including.
