Good pace with Lightning Speed, Neeson and Triptolemus prominent. The feature of the day now and NEESON (2) makes plenty of appeal coming back from Highway grade where he was super. The 3YO held his own there and this looks to shape beautifully for him back to this level. Guymer knows him well and with a favourable set up, he can get back to winning ways. LIGHTNING SPEED (3) fell out of contention when tackling the Narrandera Cup last time out following a good win at Nowra two back. Back to 1400m here, but she can take up the running from a good draw and she can bounce back to her best. TRIPTOLEMUS (6) creates plenty of interest here second-up and with his upside. Out in trip should suit and he can make an impression. WIN THE DAY (4) has been unable to find the winners' circle this campaign. Last start was fifth over 1600m at Goulburn. Can contest for a place. SUGGESTED PLAY: Neeson can return to winning ways.
