Mainmankash and Midnight Devil can be prominent. MAINMANKASH (1) resumes here from a wide gate with a lot of weight but looks the most progressive horse in the race who won a recent jumpout. RUBY AVENUE (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Pakenham Synthetic but raced below expectations last time over 1000m at the same track, finishing seventh, beaten 5.5 lengths. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. FLYING MEAN (7) hasn't lived up to the early promise but is good enough and should be at peak fitness after three runs back from a spell. MIDNIGHT DEVIL (2) returned from a spell with a fair effort last start when ninth at this track over 1013m. Will be better for the first-up run and can feature. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mainmankash to get the cash.
