Bold showing expected. MARTINGALE (14) is a four-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Kokura Dirt over 1700m, beaten 16 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. MATENRO HOUR (13) ran below expectations last time at Hanshin Dirt, finishing tenth and beaten 11 lengths. Worth another chance.
