Rossa Cometa is the likely leader and should be able to get there comfortably. HEY JUDE (9) resumes from a spell of 12 weeks. Ran well at first three starts before tackling stakes grade. Expected to go close. Well placed and happy to have him on top. MIKKI TENNESSEE (2) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1800m at Kokura, finishing fifth and beaten 3.5 lengths. Sure to improve and can get off the mark this time. ROSSA COMETA (12) finished 0.7 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 2000m at Hakodate, an improvement on her ninth at Hakodate the run before. Nicely placed to get the prize. SATONO LIA FAIL (6) finished 2.25 lengths away in sixth at his last appearance over 2000m at Fukushima on June 27 after he got a long way back in the run. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
