MAD SPITFIRE (2) is a 14-start maiden but he's knocking on the door of a maiden victory, missing by 1.4L last start over 1200m. Back out to 1400m is ideal where he was beaten in a photo finish two back. Well placed and can get the job done this time. PRINCE OF BONDI (1) wasn't far away last start at this track and trip, coming through the same race as Mad Spitfire. That ratings stacks up and he should get every chance from a better barrier this time around. Can make an impression. ACOUSTIC BUBBLES (7) is better than what we saw last time out, with her runs prior showing she was inching closer to a maiden win. On the 7-day turnaround here and won't be far away if she can return to her best. LORD MOMO (3) is in good touch without winning and is not to be discounted. RACY RASCAL (4) was better last start and can't be left out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mad Spitfire.
