SEI CARLTON (5) was less than a length from the winner in second at Mizusawa on debut before showing the benefit of that race experience when an impressive winner over 1400m at Morioka Dirt last start. Has plenty of upside and can measure up again. COPANO BRICKS (9) resumes after a break of ten weeks. Did win at his only other first-up run when on debut, scoring over 850m at Mizusawa. Should be prominent. RYUNO KAMMURI (7) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently when fifth over 1600m at Morioka Dirt. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One of the main contenders. MANA HOKULEA (11) made it five minor placings in a row last start when third over 1600m at Morioka Dirt. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
