Worth another chance. NICHOLAUS (5) did a great job to score by 2.5 lengths over this course and distance when first-up from a layoff last time out. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. SURMOUNT (7) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 0.8 lengths back in second over 1600m at this track. Ready to go one better. DIOS VALIENTE (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 12 when tenth at this track over 1400m after racing in the leading division. Well placed and can play a prominent role.
