Won at his only try over this journey. The one to beat. AHEAD OF THE FACTS (7) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second in Listed grade at this track two starts back then landed the prize by half a length as public elect last time out over 3000m in Group 3 class at this track. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. NATIVE RULER (9) comes here off a last-start sixth, beaten 4 lengths, over 2200m at this track. Profiles to run well. MASTER REDOUTE (11) hasn't been far away lately, beaten half a length at his most recent appearance when second over 3000m at Group 3 level at this track. Will find this much easier. Well placed and not to be discounted.
