Keen tempo with Chasing Warrior and Soaring Pengshan prominent. CHASING WARRIOR (1) has been showing plenty of speed in all of his 4 starts this prep, and fought hard for second at Tauranga in his penultimate start, before weakening late at Avondale 11 days ago. This course can suit front runners sometimes, and this gelding could steal it this time. TIMETOPLAYTHEGAME (3) got caught wide and failed to run on at Arawa Park last start, and his effort here in this weaker company for second by a nose is the guide to use. He likes it heavy, and is good enough to take this out. Stick with him. GOLD CARD (10) set the pace and did not show much fight when finishing eighth on the Cambridge poly track just over 2 weeks ago over 1550m, He is better placed over this shorter trip, and we have included him in all top 4 combos. SHE'LL BE RIGHT (9) hit the line strongly when finishing third by less than a length here 3 weeks ago in a tougher field. She slides down in class, and should be hard to hold out. KORO'S PRINCESS (16) is not the worst in this at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Timetoplaythegame will be hard to beat, and Koro's Princess at each way value.
