Hakusan Pioneer to take charge ahead of Flap Cygnus at a solid tempo. CONTINUAR (2) has been in great form recently, the latest effort a dominant win by 7 lengths over 1500m at this track. Winning rider Taiga Kurihara retains the mount. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. TRUE BAROWS (7) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when second over 1500m at this track when he was in the firing line all the way. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. HAKUSAN PIONEER (5) finished fourth at this track and distance at his last appearance 12 weeks ago. Among the better hopes. FLAP CYGNUS (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1500m at this track, finishing in eighth. No surprise to see him in contention.
