Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. JAIMEE MARIE (3) makes her debut and has been given plenty of time to mature. She was close up in a recent quiet trial at Avondale, and the wide draw is our main concern, but if the track is heavy, then is may be a blessing in disguise. Let the market be the best guide. WITHALLMYGRACE (2) improved quickly second to finish runner-up as the favourite at Ruakaka 15 days ago on a reasonable surface. She cops another wide gate, but will be peaking for this, and she can go one better. VALSOEUR (4) won a trial nicely prior to producing a poor effort on debut at Tauranga nearly 2 months ago. She is much better than that, and we will give her another chance. RISING MOON (14) is on debut and has won a trial. She gets in with a nice weight for still being a juvenile, and any positive market moves will be worth following. OMALISH (7) and LIT SHOW (9) are also both worth including in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Valsoeur can take this out.
