Luskin Hero should spear straight to the front of the small field. SQUARE CUT (4) has been freshened since racing below best last time. The start prior contested the Pioneer Sprint. Has a great record this course and distance and suited this grade. Take beating off the inside. ALTAR BOY (3) ran over the top of a few of these last time, coming from well back to score. Was coming back from a mile to 1100m and proved too strong. Will be tough to stop again despite the bigger weight. LUSKIN HERO (2) was runner-up from that race and was run over late. Has a low draw and meets the winner slightly better so will take catching again. DELAGO LAD (1) was third from that race and has claims. KING BLING (5) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Square Cut can find best.
