A race that lacks pace so expect a muddling tempo at best. RAINY NIGHT (3) was in a rearwards position on the turn last time out before finishing 3 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1600m at Seymour. This looks a slightly easier contest and more suited this trip. KING OF SAVOY (2) resumed from a spell last start with a sound third over 1600m at Bairnsdale. Quickly gets to 2200m but will have taken good benefit from the first-up run. CLYDEBANK ROBBER (1) made progress last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 2200m at Bairnsdale. Is a 56-start maiden, so hard to tip with too much confidence, but the last run was good enough to be a chance in this. WINGS OF LOVE (8) is a four-start maiden who finished fourth at her most recent appearance over 1628m at Moe. Suited up to this trip. Hard to see SMART MOVES (4) winning, but he'll be better for the first-up run and might show something out to this trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rainy Night to win.
