Coleridge or Minazuki to take the lead and attempt to control the tempo. FALANGHINA (13) was doing his best work late last start to get up for third over 2600m at Fukushima. Sure to prove tough to beat. HANAKOTOBA (7) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 2000m at Kokura, beaten 1.75 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. MINAZUKI (2) gave a great sight last time over 2000m at Fukushima when he raced up on the pace and fought on gamely only to be narrowly beaten. Sure to prove hard to run down again. ELAGABALIUM (14) stepped out on his debut over 2000m at Tokyo eight weeks ago and finished ninth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
