PROOFREADING (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 1700m at Hakodate Dirt after being in contention on the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. VILLAGE LUISA (2) went to the lead from the low draw last time out and was still there on straightening, eventually finishing second over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Expected to be in this for a long way. LE PAPILLON BLANC (8) is a nine-start maiden who finished sixth at her most recent appearance over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Expected to feature in the finish this time. ROUGE BONITO (5) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race and finished 6 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1700m at Hakodate Dirt after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
