Could only manage to finish fifth last time out over 1200m at Hakodate following a minor placing at Hakodate over 1200m the run prior. Did finish off strongly and not beaten far last time. Big chance here. ANGE LA FILLE (10) returns after 11 weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 1400m at Kyoto. Launched last prep with a minor placing at Chukyo over 1200m. Has ability and is a solid chance. MOZU V (14) is a five-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth over 1200m at Kokura. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. LANCE OF LOVE (2) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish sixth over 1200m at Kokura. Can feature in the finish.
