Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Write Me A Letter. MANOORA (1) first-up for the new yard she recorded a strong maiden win over 1000m at Dubbo in fast time. Has the upside to go on with it now in this average Class 1 contest. Hard to hold out again. WRITE ME A LETTER (7) talented filly who won well on debut at Tamworth, then no match for the smart Half Pipe with a tiring second over this track and trip. Blinkers go on today and will prove hard to run down. HANUMAN (6) came back in trip with a plugging second over 900m at Scone. Maps well again and can take a hand in the finish. EMPRESS TSARINA (2) resumes after getting off the mark last time in. Looks well placed with the 4kg claimer engaged and trialled well. Stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Manoora and Write Me A Letter shape as the two leading contenders.
