COCONUT COAST (14) finished second, beaten a nose, over 1600m at Nakayama on debut six-and-a-half months ago and has been kept under wraps since. Sure to have improved over the break and looks the one to beat. REMONTER (8) progressed nicely last start when he worked home well to finish a close second over 1600m at Tokyo after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SYLPHY (2) is a two-start maiden who finished sixth, beaten 5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Tokyo. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time. EARTH VINCI (16) is a four-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 5.5 lengths when fourth over 1800m at Fukushima. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
