Solid tempo likely from Nakhlite and Take On Me. SEIZE THE THRONE (7) is a talented colt who tackled a tougher race at his last run on March 28 and finished seventh behind Altramuz over 1800m in the G3 Mainichi Hai at Hanshin. Should park just off the speed. Will prove tough to beat this easier class. ASK GAMBARE (5) closed last prep with a seventh over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt on April 12. Worth noting that he opened the last campaign with a minor placing at Chukyo Dirt over 1900m. Rates highly on best figures so a bright return will not surprise. TAKE ON ME (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 8 lengths, over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Should be peaking now and can find peak form this time. ALACRAN (8) has not been sighted since he scored over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt on April 19. Worth plenty of thought.
