FLYING AKEED (18) has raced on a heavy track once and it produced a career-best performance two back when a close second over this distance at Ipswich. Not the strongest maiden field lining up here so he is a great chance to finally break through. STEADY ON (17) returned from a four-month spell with an encouraging effort last time out, racing handy then holding on well for second over today's journey at Grafton. One run on a heavy yielded a minor placing. Strips fitter and poses a definite threat. NO WOMAN NO CRY (8) came from well back to finish fifth when resuming over this trip at Grafton recently. Nicely drawn and is open to plenty of improvement. COCCINELLA (5) enjoyed dropping back to 1200m here last start when a close third at big odds in heavy going. Key contender with a repeat of that performance. Market watch on AMAZARA (10) first-up after a six-month spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Flying Akeed.
