Genuine tempo from Decanted leading Golden Spritz. ILLUMINANCE (4) resumes. She's a bit maligned this girl having run second 10 times from 21 starts for only 2 wins but she races well fresh and has run very well in better company. Comes up each way odds here and that is probably the way to play given her consistency. ALZARO (12) had no luck two back in tougher company, bouncing back to grab third at Bendigo last time out in a similar race. Doubt she has to do a whole lot more to be winning here albeit the draw isn't ideal. JEWEL BAY (1) doesn't win out of turn but is going okay and rising to 1400m now off a solid run at Mornington looks to suit. GOLDEN SPRITZ (2) comes through a strong Class 1 won by Clevor Trever and should be ready to peak third up from a perfect draw. HONEY MAKER (8) is going fairly well and should be thereabouts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Illuminance each-way.
