Moderate tempo with Star Decorum leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. LOCA BELLA (8) was less effective at the latest but has earlier form that reads strongly for this. The rise in trip suits at this stage of the prep and she rates a leading chance. VALUED (7) was in the money two starts back at Murray Bridge but couldn't back it up last time when sixth at Balaklava over 2200m. Drops back in trip off a 32-day freshen and finds the right race this time and can turn things around. SEA ROADS (4) gets out over more ground today on the back of some solid form of late, the most recent effort a second over 1396m at this track. Well placed and gets his chance to break a long run of outs. WAKOOL ASH (5) accounted for a maiden field with ease over 1498m at this track last start. Tougher this time but he's an improving type that can step up to the mark. OTTO'S DREAM (6) was poor last time in the slop at Mt Gambier but holds genuine claims back here if he can reproduce his win two back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Loca Bella to win.
