Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. Potentially a handy little maiden. MIRADOR (12) resumes having bumped into the very talented Big Sky in two runs to date, sent out $2.90 against that horse on debut at Flemington when a distant second before struggling in the G3 Chairman's. She's got good ability and can return better. ETERNAL JOY (9) resumes having run well when in the market on debut at Geelong, finishing second in an encouraging effort. She's been given time and can improve this time around. Wary of CAPITAL STORM (1), a well bred colt by Written Tycoon on debut for the Stokes yard who looked very smart winning a recent trial. Tough draw but can measure right up. PORTINARI (15) struggled in the G2 Blue Diamond Prelude on debut but this is much easier and she should take beating. MINELLO (2) is an Ole Dancer gelding for the Freedman yard who can run well off solid jumpout form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mirador on top.
