Genuine pace headed by Palatial Prince from his wide gate. CAT CALL (4) returned to winning ways last time out, running away with an impressive 5.5 length win over 1050m at Gold Coast Poly. Hit with a bit more weight for that huge win but will be high on confidence now and he should cope. FORTYSECONDSTREET (9) goes well for hoop Thompson who has a win and a placing from just three steers and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a role in the outcome. SLING (6) finished out of the placings last start when resuming on turf at Ipswich over 1350m. On a synthetic track for the first time. Fitter now and shapes as one of the main hopes. DARTH INVADER (2) has been kept fresh since finishing eighth over 1000m at Toowoomba five weeks ago. Was a determined winner two runs back. Form at this distance is strong with two wins from four starts and must be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cat Call to win again.
