GOING: H(8)

WIMMERS PREMIUM SOFT DRINKS Class 6 Handicap 1200m

Track: HEAVY 8   Rain (Max: 20)   Rail: +12m Entire.

In the small field Beaux Rumble or Zingalong should find the front. PETITE PALACE (5) just missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1110m at Doomben, beaten only 0.8 lengths. This easier and has the ability to figure prominently. BEAUX RUMBLE (1) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 1200m at Doomben. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. LUTON HOO (2) is having her first run since winning by a nose five weeks ago over 1300m at Toowoomba. Has transferred to the Kristie Clark-Peoples stable over the break. Well-placed and is among the top-three chances. FIGHTING IDOL (6) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then got a long way back last start when 5 lengths away in eighth over 1100m at Toowoomba. Ready to peak now third-up from the spell and this looks well within his grasp. . SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 5,1,2,6.
