Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Empress Angel. GOLD ARMOUR (5) produced a nice effort on debut over 1100m here when found one better. Tricky gate but has upside and should pay to follow. DON TURBOAS (2) returns from a short break after a minor placing over 1150m at Devonport Synthetic. Kept ticking over subsequently with a trial win at Hobart. Well placed and is expected to feature. HONEST WARRIOR (7) resumes from a spell of six-and-a-half months and is having his first outing under new trainer Kelvin Hamilton. Finished seventh at Canberra over 1000m at the opening run last time in work. Ran fourth in a trial at Devonport Synthetic over 800m recently. Expecting a bold run. VINRAAM (10) has not raced since his debut back on January 9 when he finished fifth over 1200m at Launceston. Trialling very well for return and looks ready to fire. GOLD TIANNA (6) is overdue and looks a leading chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Gold Armour.
