Nice weight drop this time around. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Best form puts him right in this. OASIS STAR (1) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing ninth over 1600m at this track last start. Should be poised just off the lead. Best form puts him right in this. TOP DOG (3) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of 14 months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1200m at this track. Good effort to open last prep when in the money at this track over 1200m. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Busan. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. PERFECT POINT (11) is a five-start maiden who was in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third at the latest appearance over 1200m at this track. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and is not to be discounted.
