Strong pace from San Marco and Brullen matching motors with Dissalto close at hand. BARRYFROM BRUNZWIK (3) never got into the contest after settling near the tail at Donald and was unable to make significant inroads in the run home. He will find this much easier, and the extra 200m is exactly what he needs now. Stick with him on top here. BLACKLIP (4) was disappointing at Kilmore after scoring impressively at Wodonga fresh up by a head on a good track. He is worth another chance on the more consistent poly surface here. MISS TRUSTFUL (7) found the task too difficult at Kilmore after drifting well back in the field from a wide gate. She may also be looking for some better track conditions, so the poly track here could make all the difference. Each way. LUCKY COMPASS (18) has been given a freshen up after producing some solid form, and with some luck from a tricky gate, he is capable of a top 4 finish at odds. BRULLEN (5) will find this easier than his last start, and he is another top 4 hope in a field with many chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Barryfrom Brunzwik is the one to beat.
