Strong tempo, primarily from Tamamo Calicot and Academia. ACADEMIA (9) clocked-in third behind Realize Camion when first up from a spell last time out at Tokyo Dirt over 2100m. Yet to miss the placings here in an excellent record which boasts two wins and one placing. Great strike-rate and loves the course and distance. Expect a bold showing. LEVANTE CITY (14) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by half a length over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from five runs. Big chance once again. LOKAHI (15) was prominent at the corner and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt, beaten 2.75 lengths. In the right race and is a key runner. PATIENT SIEN (8) has been freshened up since he finished fifth over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt eight weeks ago. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Not to be discounted.
