Looks a decent tempo with Kingson, Hawson and Opal Beach leading the charge. EQUINE HEADLINE (5) hasn't won for a long time but has returned in good order this campaign and is ready to peak third-up off the back of two minor placings to kick the prep off. Milnes' booking is adds confidence. CHEF MILITAIRE (4) wound up strongly last time out to finish third at long odds when coming back from a break. Will be winding up late again. LUCKY DOG (7) turned in a better run last start when finishing midfield here. Drawn poorly but can cause a late scare if the pace is genuine. Open sort of race. LORD MORTON (6) kicked off his latest campaign with two straight placings before getting too far back last start at Oakbank. Holds each way appeal along with ALFANO (13) who closed well first up at this course last start off a lengthy break. SUGGESTED PLAY: Equine Headline to win.
