ATKINS (8) wound up powerfully late when finishing second by a nose at Matamata just over 3 weeks ago, continuing her run of good form. The extra furlong is the key this time, and she is set to go one better. O'HELLO (6) won a trial prior to finishing a sound fourth on debut here just over 6 weeks ago. He might already be looking for more ground, and his first win is not far away. WEE NESSY (13) was disappointing as the favourite at Ruakaka last time out after being unlucky at Te Aroha before that. Stick with her. BE WATER (1) showed pace to lead at Taupo 2 weeks ago when leading and then being caught late to finish second by a head. He cops a wide gate here, but he will be improved, and he has top 4 claims again. VOLUNTEER (5) has a bad gate, but Craig Gyrlls is in the irons. Include in all combinations.
