Genuine tempo from Strummer leading Dreamstone. DOC MARCH (4) dominated his maiden second-up at Albury, then came desperately close to making it two on the bounce here last time, beaten a lip by the in-form Pride Of Jezza. Peaking now and gets the key booking of McDougall. Looks the one to beat. DISTILLERY (2) progressed nicely second-up as favourite when digging deep to win by a head at Mornington. Hot-hand hoop Boudvillain goes on and should give the gelding every chance to go back-to-back from the favourable draw. MIDNIGHT AFFAIR (7) doesn't win out of turn but is knocking on the door. Has a fitness edge and will look likely throughout, just needs to find the winning blow. STRUMMER (1) has been knocking on the door for quite some time. Gets some weight relief with the claimer on deserves respect on peak figures. Keeping safe. BO COUGAR (12) is another that can feature if she brings her A-game. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Doc March.
