Plenty of speed from Meisho Ryushi and Smart Julius. KANATA KONATA (4) was impressive last time at Hanshin Dirt, scoring by 5 lengths over this trip. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Sure to be in the finish. SMART JULIUS (5) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 1.75 lengths over today's trip at this track. Has started two times at this course and distance and has a win and a placing. Rates highly and can measure up. LIGHT OF NUKATA (7) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Won only other try second-up. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. STAR OF LONDON (1) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely improver who looks sure to play a big role.
