COMME CI COMME CA (1) is back from a 20-week spell and is now in the local David Matts stable. Raced three times in the maiden prep in Victoria and was high in the betting for two of those runs but did nothing. Gets a host of gear changes which might bring the best out of this four-year-old. NUTCRACKER QUEEN (6) is a first starter trained on the track by Donna Traecey. Won a trial here on 4 December so she looks to have ability. Big chance to make an immediate impact. LA REGINA (7) is another locally trained galloper on debut. Trialled well here recently and from gate one should be given every chance.
