Crombie or Willyabrup to take the lead and attempt to control the tempo. Looks a race in two. DANDY FLIRT (9) is the one to beat. Having just third career run stepped up to this journey here last time and ran on hard to just miss. Unlike most in the race has upside and gets chance to go one better. SHE'S RESOLUTE (8) looks the main threat. Stepped up to 2000m here last time and kept finding to fill a minor placing. Will be handy throughout and should be in the finish if runs to latest. MAJOR MAGNUS (4) tackled 1675m here last time and got back but found the line strongly. First try this journey but may well be looking for it now. CROMBIE (1) has had a lot of tries and recent form moderate but did run very well at only try at 2000m last time in. Should be at peak now and expected to do better over the extra ground. AIN'TNOCUREFORLOVE (3) raced over this trip here on Wednesday and was beaten five lengths in a Class 1. Back to a maiden and could sneak a place. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Dandy Flirt.
