A strong tempo is assured with Razella and Toorak Blaze leading the charge. STAR VALOUR (5) has been far from disgraced when tackling tougher opposition of late and looks perfectly placed back at this level. Should blend into the race beautifully from the draw and is at peak fitness on the quick back-up. Bold showing anticipated. ZAIN PRINCE (3) was sent out favourite last time when second over 1550m at Bordertown after he was handy all the way. Won't be bothered by this longer journey and he should be better focused with the blinkers applied. Can get the job done this time. DIADOCHOS (1) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to fifth. Draws well for the 2kg claimer and doesn't need to to improve much to be fighting out the finish. TIRITIRI (11) has been much better in his last two and should be at his top now. Gets his chance to break a long run of outs. CULLEN SKINK (6) hasn't won for a very long time but there's ratings from earlier in the prep that measure up well for this. Keeping safe in exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Star Valour to win.
