FIERY ROSE (5) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of six-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1160m at this track. Runner-up all three to date and can go one better fresh. STONEYWOOD (4) returned last time with a solid second at this track over 1000m. Placed to advantage and can take this out. ROCKABILLY (3) fought on well for third last start over 1000m at Vaal, making it two minor placings in a row. Likely to play a major role. SURREAL SONG (7) has not raced since her debut on June 28 over 1160m at this track when she finished sixth, beaten 7 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
