Strong pace with Meisho Soten, Wonderful Days and Mr Emerald pushing forward, closely attended by Encore Again and Lombardo City. KITANO SHAKUR (3) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing second over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt when he was handy all the way. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MENDELEJEV (11) finished third, beaten 4 lengths, over 1800m at this track on debut three months ago and has been kept under wraps since. Sure to have improved over the break and should feature in the finish. WONDERFUL DAYS (6) is still a maiden after five starts but was placed at this track when resuming before finishing fourth at Hanshin Dirt last start. Don't underestimate. ENCORE AGAIN (14) showed good early speed last start on debut but felt the pinch late and finished fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1800m at this track. Improver worth including.
