Moderate tempo headed by Calamity Fox.
CALEDONIAN (4) raced near the speed then proved a little too strong in the final stages in a Class 1 over this course and distance last start. Nicely drawn and although not well in at the weights a repeat performance is a real possibility. AUSBRED YAHOO (10) has won just one race in 30 starts and that came 799 days ago, but her form this prep has been encouraging. Tried hard but couldn't quite resist Caledonian when they clashed over the mile here a fortnight ago. Meets him a huge 5kgs better today so she looks a great chance to reverse the result. SUNNY'S GIRL (8) won here two back over 1415m then failed when back in distance most recently. Loves racing here so although the mile is a query she must be considered. IN THE FINE PRINT (5) added to a long run of good performances when runner-up over 1550m at Murwillumbah last start. Won a similar race here at this trip three back so his credentials stack up. COSMIC COCO (2) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Caledonian and Ausbred Yahoo.
